Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston Texas, U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents are missionaries. During his childhood the Bakers traveled extensively with them. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed as did his mom Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker and his father and their aunt moved between Denver to Denver. Baker's inability to pay for school was the cause for bullying by kids around him. As a sixth-grader, he began to listen to hip-hop. Colson Kelly Baker was born 22 April, 1990 in Texas in the United States. The artist is famous for mixing hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock music in his compositions. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 and released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics at the pace of a speeding bullet experienced an explosive rise when, 2011 was the year he switched from self-released mixes to reputable labels. The career of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when the release of his debut mixtape at the end of the year.
