Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1 1995. She was born in Berkeley California USA. She is an actress, known as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film and actor family. The two professions she chose to pursue were herself. At the age of nine when she began her acting debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she was cast in the role of lead in the first feature of Cristina Comencini's film Zoo. Additionally, she was an integral part of Michele Soavi's casting in The Church. Red Wood Pigeon was the following year and Asia was Nanni's daughter. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. This was when Asia's career began to take off as she transitioned from young girl roles to more mature and complicated roles. The film was well-received during the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she appeared for the first time with her father, the famous Italian film director Dario Argento his mother, one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search for her parents' killer. Asia's intense and absorbed performance style was used to great effect in the film Condannato a nozze. In 1993, she was a co-star in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista in which she performed the role of Arianna who was a disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult part that earned she the David di Donatello award for the most outstanding actress. She also played prominent roles in the cast international for Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995, she collaborated along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio, for which she won a David di Donatello. In 1994 Asia decided to try directing and turned out two short films as part of the series of the film De Generazione In 1996 she produced a documentary about her father and, in 1998, another film on the legendary director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva where she was the main actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film came out in on May 1, 2000 in Italy and the rest of world. It won an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
